Peliga is a padel & sportswear brand founded in Gothenburg, located at the west coast of Sweden.

We’re on a mission to make padel equipment and activewear as as qualitative as possible - to make you win with style.

From padel to sportswear

It started of with padel balls. Today, we develop, manufacture and sell everything from high qualitative padel rackets and overgrips to trendy and functional activewear and clothes.

Since the launch in 2020, we've constantly been experimenting and developing new products. All with focus on three components – quality, durability & sustainability.

We've only just begun

Today, we've a wide range of sportswear and padel equipment in our catalog. But who knows what will come next? No one knows, but one thing is for sure – we've just begun.

Year by year

  • 2020

    The year Peliga was born. Also a year characterized by the Corona virus and a lot of horrible consequences for the entire planet. One of the least horrible consequences made birth to Peliga – the fact that the founders stood without summer internships at the start of the summer. The disappointed students founded Peliga instead, and a heavy experimenting phase in order to create the perfect padel ball began, together with some of the best padel players in Sweden. Before 2020 came to an end, the Peliga ball was launched and was well received by the market.

  • 2021

    Our first real year in business. Peliga becomes the first sports brand in the world (as far as we know) to launch a product with a packaging that you get a cashback from recycling. Read more about it in Padeldirekt (in Swedish). With about 40 resellers in Sweden, we managed to start building the Peliga brand, with our core product - the Peliga padel ball. But there were more to come...

  • 2022

    The year we crossed borders. After a great 2021, it was time to look beyond the borders of Sweden. After a successful launch in Norway, the aim was set to launch on other markets, mainly in the Nordics, alongside the launch of a new product category; activewear consisting of eg. Heden, Masthugget and Haga. We also launched our first limited edition padel rackets Vinga Hybrid, Orust Power and Aeolus Control, which sold out pretty much immidiately. When closing the year of 2022, we have more than doubled the resellers that offer Peliga products to their customers and have a lot more to come...

  • 2023

    We're only in the second quarter of 2023, at the time of writing this. However, we have a lot going on regarding new markets and resellers as well as new products and collaborations. So far we have started selling in Denmark and launched our sherpa fleece jacket - Kullavik.
